Though it sounds like an odd combination, activated charcoal helps remove the skin’s impurities, preventing acne. Licorice root is a specific ingredient used to brighten, smooth, and moisturize skin while treating dark spots. Finally, artichoke helps delay the process of aging by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
When I applied the detox to my face, the cleanser warmed my hands similar to a warm towel. The cleanser is tempting to use daily, but according to instructions, it’s advised to use weekly if your skin isn’t acne-prone.

When rating the combination of the cleanser and oil serum as a detox enhancement, I would rate it two thumbs up!
