A multifaceted woman, Lejla Cas is an internationally renowned celebrity skincare specialist, a Reiki Master, esthetician, makeup artist, entrepreneur, and the founder and president of KNESKO Skin, a high-vibrational skincare brand. In my exclusive interview with Cas she delves into her background, her innovative brand and more.
Thank you for joining us. You have quite an interesting background. Please tell us about yourself.
I have spent over 26 years in the skincare industry as an esthetician working with thousands of clients and global brands before founding KNESKO in 2012. That experience shapes how I approach formulation. I translate what I’ve seen in real skin into products designed to deliver clinical results while creating a meaningful ritual. I’m also a Reiki Master, which has influenced my philosophy from the beginning. For me, beauty isn’t just about what you apply, it’s about the connection between the body, the mind, and the energy behind how you care for yourself.

I waited 14 years before launching skincare, and that was intentional. I wasn’t interested in chasing trends or entering the market without a clear point of view. That clarity came from years of working closely with skin. I kept seeing the same gap: clients were investing in clinical treatments, but something was missing. They lacked the ritual and consistency that sustained results over time. I saw that when people feel connected to their skincare, they stay consistent and that’s when real transformation happens. That insight shaped KNESKO: products that deliver visible results while creating a daily experience people return to. We launched in 2012, and our first account was the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire, an early signal that the concept resonated beyond my own treatment room.
What sets KNESKO SKIN apart from others and who is your target customer?
KNESKO is built on the belief that clinical performance and experience should never be separated. We formulate for visible results, but we also design the experience of using the product because that experience is what drives consistency. At its core, the brand is about the connection between skin and something deeper. Every product is created with intention, informed by my background as an esthetician and Reiki Master. Our customer doesn’t want to choose between results and ritual. She understands that both are essential, and that consistency is what ultimately transforms the skin.
What is the significance of the brand’s name?
The name is personal. KNESKO is a combination of the founders’ names. From the beginning, it was important that the brand felt intentional and rooted in meaning. It reflects the love, intuition, and commitment we bring to everything we create.
What makes the Gold Repair Skincare Collection unique?
Gold Repair introduces our proprietary G-P8X™ Technology—a fusion of gold, peptides, plant stem cells, and pro-collagen actives designed to support firmness, elasticity, radiance, and overall skin quality. Gold plays a functional role in supporting delivery and performance, helping key actives work more effectively. Peptides improve the appearance of firmness and expression lines, plant stem cells support resilience, and pro-collagen actives promote a smoother, more lifted-looking complexion. True to KNESKO, the collection also carries an intentional element. Gold is aligned with the third eye chakra, paired with the affirmation, “I honor my intuition.” It’s advanced skincare delivered through a ritual designed to be both effective and meaningful.
Having worked in the skincare industry for so many years do you have a couple of top tips you could share with us?
Consistency drives results, not the hero product. The skin responds to systems, and the best routine is the one you can sustain. Build a ritual, not just a routine. When skincare becomes a moment for yourself, consistency follows. Protect the skin barrier first. Without hydration and barrier support, no active performs at its full potential

Just for fun. Is there a person in the world with whom you would like to have a private breakfast or lunch, and why?
Oprah Winfrey. I admire her ability to create connection and meanings on a scale. She’s built something that goes far beyond any one category, it’s about how people grow and show up in their lives. She leads with honesty and vulnerability, which creates trust and that’s essential when you’re building something meaningful. I think we’d talk about intention, longevity, and how to stay grounded in your values as you evolve.
