Baebody – Affordable Skin Care for Serious People

When I reviewed Baebody’s backbar-sized shampoo and conditioner sets in nourishing argan and detoxing tea tree oil options in the winter, how did I not realize that this affordable brand does skincare too? Not just any skincare, but targeted skin sets based on the holy trinity of skin maintenance: cleansing, treating, and renewing with collagen, niacinamide, and retinol. If these actives are not the bedrock of your skin care regimen, you are not serious people.

As skincare starts at night, Baebody recently launched a Collagen Cleansing Micellar Face Cleanser, a milky cleanser and makeup remover that can be used two ways. It works as either a water-activated foaming cleanser or without water to rival your favorite micellar water. Because I’m extra, I do both. One swipe of the cleanser with a cotton pad as the micellar step to remove pollution, grime, and concealer, then followed with the foamy, water-activated one to remove the last traces of mascara and sebum. However you use the Collagen Cleansing Micellar Face Cleanser, the collagen, hyaluronic acid, and calendula extracts in this clean, vegan formulation will leave your skin nourished, hydrated, and prepped for the next step in the Baebody skincare routine.

Because all of us, serious or not, have to mask, Baebody offers a Multi-Mask Trio. A charcoal-based mask with tea tree and aloe absorbs impurities and zaps sebum in just 15 minutes. If you’re extra like me, you can follow with either the niacinamide-rich Youth Boost or Aqua Boost gel masks for hydration, glow and anti-aging. Both are light and nourishing enough to keep on overnight as sleeping masks.

If you’re feeling more high maintenance after rinsing off the mask of your choice, you can conclude your nightly regiment with the Retinol Moisturizer or Serum, a powerhouse step, complete with Vitamin E to tackle wrinkles, fine lines, and dark spots for the ultimate in anti-aging for serious and unserious people alike.
