I love my dog and treat her to only the best pet products from leashes, shampoos, and pee pads. This time around I’ve been exploring bone broth in her diet. Benefits of bone broth for dogs is promoting hydration, supportive to joint health, and diversify the immune system and gut health. Since my dog is a senior these benefits are something I’ve been wanting to add to her routine as she turns 14 this year.
I checked out the Broth Beginner’s Bundle from Brutus Bone Broth. The bundle includes everything to start from boxes of broth, biscuits, treat tray and on-the-go sachets.
Broth
I add a few tablespoons of broth to my dog’s dry food. She was curious at first, taking a small bite, and then instantly gobbled down her breakfast in the blink of an eye. Safe to say she loves this broth.
For our daily walks I carry the on-the-go sachets to add to her water. It is as simple as pour, stir, drink! It only requires water and makes this product easy for park trips or car rides across the states.
Treats
For snack time the biscuits from Brutus is the easiest treats to pack and go. My dog goes gaga over these biscuits when training for her tricks or simply an after-dinner treat. For the sizzling summer days the broth doubles as an icy treat when poured into the treat tray. I pop it into the freezer and I get cute bone and paw shaped pup-sicles for my doggy to cool down.
Final thoughts
The bundle is a simple and affordable way to add bone broth to my dog’s diet. The flavors are great –beef and chicken– and appealing to my somewhat picky dog. Plus the treat tray is adorable and can be used for homemade treats all year long. This bundle gets two paws up from this dog mom.
