Rethinking Personal Safety

It’s a gift offering personal safety protection and peace of mind.

The elegant pendant necklace included in invisaWear’s Nightcap Safety Box doesn’t look like typical bulky security jewelry. Discreetly, it doubles as an essential lifeline, activating speedy assistance during a medical emergency, criminal activity, fire, or car crash.

I like the variety of safety features invisawear provides. For example, at a subscriber’s request, ADT will track the invisaWear subscriber for up to four hours via its Safety Timer option. This feature is useful if one is traveling, hiking alone, or on a date. All subscribers can also access free quarterly self-defense instruction.  Another option is the LiveChat with an ADT agent in uneasy situations in which a subscriber is unsure if a 911 call is needed. The agent will speak with the subscriber until she gets to a safe place. If the situation shifts to a dangerous level, the agent places a call for emergency assistance. At all times, two clicks on the back of one’s invisaWear pendant is all that is needed to get help in a life-threatening emergency situation.

Drink Spiking Prevention

One in five women in the United States experienced completed or attempted rape during their lifetime. SOURCE. Tampering with a woman’s drink leaves her vulnerable to rape, assault, and robbery.

Drink covers proactively prevent drink spiking. I tested the Nightcap Safety Box’s drink covers to determine how well they fit  over glasses of various shapes.  They fit comfortably over most glasses, except for large-bowled wine and large-bowled beer glasses.

My InvisaWear Experience

Wearing my invisaWear jewelry is like bringing along a  personal bodyguard when I’m walking by  myself on an isolated stretch of greenway, traveling to a new destination, or running errands. However, there are a few things I wish were different. I wish the battery was rechargeable because when the battery wears out, the charm must be replaced. On the positive side, replacement charms are offered at a discounted rate.

I love the design of the pretty StarBurst Charm Necklace included in the Nightcap Safety Box. I wear it often. However, it is not waterproof and must be removed when I shower. Therefore, I wear the invisaWear bracelet daily because it is easier to slip on and off. Both pieces of jewelry are water resistant, Still, I  wish invisaWear would offer waterproof necklaces and bracelets for subscribers who often forget to remove jewelry before showering.

A Special Offer

There are many safety tools at a woman’s disposal, including personal alarms and pepper sprays (where legally allowed). From my perspective, invisawear’s Nightcap Safety Box is one of the best safety options for real life situations. Aside from the security jewelry options, a security keychain option is also available.
