Chanelle, you have quite an interesting background. Please tell us more about yourself.
I have been in the medical industry for almost 25 years now. I took four years off to be at home when my girls were little, and I had five in diapers at the same time. I needed to be there, but other than that I have been in this industry in many different roles. I started SimpleFixRx.com in 2022 and it has been a blast. SimpleFixRx.com is an online pharmacy platform that targets direct to consumers and provides medical doctors to do online consultations for conditions such as weight loss, skincare, sexual health which includes birth control, UTI, and yeast infections. We also provide doctors with notes for work and school.
When I look at product lines, I think: what do I buy and will not do without? What are my high school daughters putting on my credit card each month? Then, I look at ways to do it better than what is out there currently. When I started SimpleFixRx, GLP1s were not anywhere like the market is today. The whole first year was mainly spent educating patients. Now, everyone is on them.
Why did you decide to start your own skincare line and how is Royal Hive different from other skincare brands?
Our skincare line, Royal Hive started because I used a product out of Israel that was made from lavender, beeswax, and propolis. It was amazing and did wonders for my skin. I started researching it and with my pharmacy background, I knew we could develop something that was even better. I first started with the PM Hydration Honey. The product contains beeswax, salicylic acid, hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, shea butter, glycolic acid, lactic acid, propolis, natural scented oil, olive oil, and ceramides.
What exciting advancements or discoveries about Royal Hive are you most excited to share?
Our AM Hydration Honey contains, beeswax, salicylic acid, hyaluronic acid, Vitamin E, shea butter, glycolic acid, lactic acid, propolis, orange oil, olive oil, ceramides, vitamin C, ferulic acid, castor oil and zinc oxide (mineral sunscreen). It is super important to look for products for the daytime that have both Vitamin C and ferulic acid. They work so much better when combined. We have released these over the counter, but in the coming months we will be able to add prescriptions into these. For example, if you want a retinol, we can add it to the PM Hydration Honey and ship it out to you. I think the body oil is by far my favorite product. I love it! It feels so good and stays with you. It is important for SimpleFixRx to make sure our patients and customers feel pleased with the money they have spent. We value getting plenty of products for your money. That is why our moisturizer is 120ml and the oil is 12 oz.
Working in the health and beauty industry for so many years, do you have a couple of wellness tips you could share with us?
As far as my own health and wellness tips, water, water, water. As 2025 is in full roll now, cut the alcohol, and add the water. I have been plant-based for 14 years, and I can see a difference in my skin after that many years. GLP1s can also change skin a bit. That is why I wanted to introduce these amazing products to help so many people keep their youthful look.
Do you plan on creating more Royal Hive products in the upcoming year?
As far as new products, in June we will introduce several hair growth products. Again, I look at what are common complaints from our patients. Being on GLP1s for a while, this is something I hear from our customers, “what do you have for hair?”
