The latest girlish narrative directed by Sofia Coppola, starring Cailee Spaeny as the titular character and Jacob Elordi (swoon) as Elvis. This reimagining of the couple was released this past Friday and to celebrate, Half Magic released their Priscilla Set. I’ve been mixing and matching with this set to create my own film noir cat eye and Bette Davis-esque lashes.
The set contains an easy-to-travel-with-trio: EYELECTRIC, the tubing mascara, MAGIC FLIK Liquid Eyeliner, and WING MAGICIAN Reusable Wing Guide.
After prepping my eyelids with primer and a touch of shadow to set the base, I reach for the neon green WING MAGICIAN Reusable Wing Guide. This sparkle shaped stencil makes for the ideal guide for a melodramatic feline eye (the longer side) or a demure yet coy flirtatious flick (the shorter side).
Now onto drawing… I employ the best-selling MAGIC FLIK Liquid Eyeliner. Upon opening I notice the unique, almost paddle-like, tip on this eyeliner. I use the thin side to follow the wing guide and fill in my wing with the thicker side. This formula is a jet black that stays put all day yet comes off with water, so no tugging or red eyes.
The grand finale: EYELECTRIC mascara. As the name suggests this mascara adds a flair for the dramatic to match the energy of the iconic Priscilla appearance. I apply three layers for a major P-O-P and go about my day. To remove I simply use warm water and massage my eyelids as the tubing particles get whisked away.
