Symphony Beauty: Purifect has Budget-Friendly, Nature-Inspired Skincare

If you’re a fan of beauty products with nature-inspired ingredients, Symphony Beauty has something for you. The brand sources ingredients for its K-Beauty products in the United States. Symphony Beauty’s products are cruelty-free, sustainable, and clinically proven. The brand was founded in 2015 by former Marine James Jo. With a background in the Marines and in the beauty industry, James brings a strategic expertise to the world of beauty.

As the company’s founder and CEO, James’ goal was to create safe, effective skincare products for his wife to use during her pregnancy. The products work in harmony to connect inner and outer beauty. Beyond beauty, the brand itself symbolizes James’ commitment to his family and his courage to pursue challenging things.

Symphony Beauty currently has three beauty brands on its roster: Purifect, Clara’s New York, and True Nature Skincare. These three distinct lines come in a range of prices, so healthy skincare can be more accessible. A variety of options are available for consumers to find products that fit their skin’s needs.

I recently tried Symphony Beauty’s Purifect line. It has a collection of skincare and haircare products for all skin types and needs. All products are devoid of parabens, sulfates, and mineral oils. This skincare system is budget-friendly, with each item pricing under $20. Products have a brightly colored, playful aesthetic, putting a fun twist on self-care. The packaging includes “How to Use” instructions in words and images. These step-by-step directions show how to use products to their fullest potential.

Purifect’s collagen-infused products are formulated to rejuvenate the skin’s tone, texture, and elasticity. The brand’s Anti-Aging Collagen Facial Serum has key ingredients like collagen, Vitamin E, ceramide NP, and cynanchum atratum extract that help protect, hydrate, regulate, and firm the skin’s moisture barrier. I extracted a pump of the serum and applied to my face after cleaning. The serum had a jelly-like consistency that rapidly absorbed into my skin. The formula was non-irritating and spread evenly.

I followed up the serum with Purifect’s Wrinkle Correction Collagen Ultra Booster Cream. This moisturizer has a velvety texture that pairs well with Purifect’s collagen serum. The cream had a thick consistency, but instead of being heavy, it settled gently on my skin. Using this product in tandem with the collagen serum gave my skin a fuller, radiant shine the next morning.

If you’re looking for a more restorative collagen boost, Purifect’s Fortifying Peptide Facial Serum is a great option. It has a mix of six peptides that work together to strengthen and repair damaged skin. This serum aims to improve the skin’s barrier and reduce the appearance of fine lines with skin-loving ingredients like fatty acids, copper tripeptide-1, glycerin, and vitamin E. I massaged it into my skin using the tapping motions suggested on the box. Like the other serums in Purifect’s collection, the Fortifying Peptide Facial Serum had a jelly consistency that helped my skin retain moisture.

I also enjoyed Purifect’s Healing Tea Trea Facial Oil Serum. Tea tree oil has antiseptic and antibacterial properties that soothe skin inflammation and redness. Several years back, I had a tea tree oil serum I loved that was discontinued, which is why I was so happy to find one in Purifect’s collection. The scent is a cross between eucalyptus and peppermint, which gives it a fresh, natural fragrance. This is a great serum to add to your routine to calm breakouts and inflammation.

Purifect’s Radiance-Boosting Vitamin C Brightening Cream fosters the skin’s ability to repair. Its key ingredient, vitamin C, targets uneven skin tone and discoloration. It works to improve the skin’s topical vibrancy. The thick creamy has hints of a citrus scent. Only a pea-size amount is needed to give your skin a healthy boost of antioxidants that help repair environmental damage. This cream is the perfect antidote for skin that feels dull and uneven.
