Founded in 2018 when the founder took a trip with his wife to Colorado’s Rocky Mountains and they were both cold and burdened with too many layers of clothing. He envisioned something lighter and simpler, and named his brand Venustas after Botticelli’s Birth of Venus. After a prototype and success with the original men’s jacket with a detachable hood, the rest of the line made its debut.
All of the Venustas items come with the battery and charger for up to 16 hours of runtime (collar & back heating) and up to 8 hours of runtime for all-zones heating. The coast has 6 heating zones: left & right chests, left & right pocket, neck, mid-back, and there is a dual-control heating system. The water-resistant shell is useful for snow sports, and the clothing is machine washable. The hood is detachable.
