Whether you’re in it to see Bad Bunny’s performance at the half, Green Day’s opener, or the Seattle Seahawks face off with the New England Patriots, Super Bowl LX is shaping up to be an exciting event. With some fun party additions, you can bring that excitement home without even traveling to Santa Clara.
Testing Your Grasp of the Gridiron
One thing a lot of sports fans have in common is loving trivia! Super Bowl Sunday could be the perfect opportunity to test your football knowledge with Fanzone. The electronic trivia game has 500 questions across categories like Monday Night Moments and Legends of the Game. Also, much to my delight, the game comes with batteries and is ready to be played straight out of the box!
To play Fanzone, players divide into teams and buzz in when they know the answer to the trivia question being asked. Then, players select True or False and find out if they truly know football as well as they think they do!
There are two game settings, one for players seven years of age and up and one for fourteen years of age and up. You can have as many as four teams, so as few as two players can play, or you can get all your guests involved! The game also features fun extras like bonus points for being speedy and penalties for buzzing in before the whistle.
Fanzone is available on Amazon, and there is also a soccer edition, giving you plenty of time to brush up on more “football” knowledge before this summer’s World Cup games take over MetLife Stadium.
It’s All About the Snacks
While watching exciting plays unfold on the field certainly makes the big game entertaining, a smart play for hosting is securing some tasty grub. One way to level up your chip-and-dip offering is with Pancho’s cheese dip. These refrigerated dips come in tubs that are easy to heat in the microwave and wide enough to be used directly for dipping. They are also a good fit for crowds since they are gluten-free and vegetarian friendly.
Pancho’s started as a restaurant in Memphis in 1956 with a cheese dip so good it would eventually outlive the establishment. I tried their two most popular flavors and found both to be creamy, flavorful, and satisfying. The White Queso has a restaurant-quality appeal with white cheese and jalapeños, and the Original Queso has some slight heat with White American cheese, tomatoes, jalapeños, and bell peppers. The dips were excellent as a nacho topping, too!
Pancho’s is available nationwide at Walmart, Publix, and Kroger, and there’s also a Store Locator where you can find the nearest location that sells these tasty dips.
