The Enduring Fedora

Jamie Slye thought about her grandfather Buddy’s impeccable personal style while she designed the Buddy Wool Fedora with Snap Brim. When I think of a fedora, I envision fedora-wearing Johnny Depp or the dapper fedora-wearing duo Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in the 1943 film classic “Casablanca.” Fedoras have a sophisticated, refined aura, exuding confidence and flair.

I’m not a hat person, but I could not resist the timeless allure of the unisex Buddy Wool Fedora. I love this fashionable fedora for multiple reasons: It flatters my heart-shaped face,  looks great with casual and formal apparel, and Buddy’s snappy wide brim can be popped up or turned down, depending on my mood and what I’m wearing.  Last but not least, this crafted in the USA fedora features a picture-perfect finishing touch—a slim hatband adorned with a silver Jamie Slye concho.

My Buddy Wool Fedora fit perfectly and was comfortable to wear, thanks to Jamie Slye’s size guide, so stop there first if you plan on buying your own Buddy Wool Fedora. Buddy’s cruelty-free wool felt fedora has convinced me I need to wear a hat! Therefore, ultra cool Buddy is a keeper. I will faithfully care for it using the hat care tips posted on Slye’s Hat Care page.
