Gin & Bourbon Lovers Unite
Common Ground‘s gin’s unique flavor comes from a hand-selected blend of botanicals sourced from local suppliers in Berkeley, California. By slowly distilling their craft gin in small batches, they are able to maintain the most delicate flavors and aromas, such as Black Current Thyme, Blood Orange Tarragon, and Basil Elderflower. These distinctive flavors add an exquisite touch to blended cocktails and are also superb on ice or neat. Common Ground bourbon is crafted with 100% California-grown grain, and formulated with the assistance of neighbor Ryan Sutherland of Sutherland Distilling Company in Livermore, CA.
Julian and Tory, coworkers turned lifelong friends, met in the tech industry where they shared common ground as men of color. After achieving success in their tech careers, they wanted to forge a legacy that was their own, and something that could be passed on to future generations and other black-owned businesses. They have a positive impact on the spirits industry by taking pride in its representation and diversity. By mentoring and motivating other black-owned companies, Tory and Julian believe they can build a more diverse and inclusive spirits industry. 1/2 oz raspberry syrup
1/4 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 dashes of orange bitters
2 dashes of grapefruit juice
garnish with a tart cherry
