On day two of, Dubai Fashion Week, its global lineup of designers presented an elegant and whimsical blend of fresh styles. DFW’s goal as an international platform is to be a site where creativity, culture, and craftsmanship converge. Goal achieved. The shows run through September 6th, and FLTRD is the platform for the show, launching new designers with diverse visions.

ERICK BENDANA – Latin American Magic
Erick Bendaña is one of the most lauded designers in Latin America. His SS26 couture collection, titled ‘The Sun and The Moon,’ explores themes of contrast: light and shadow, masculine and feminine, and nature’s rhythmic dance between day and night. Radiant golden gowns evoke the sun, while ethereal silver creations reflect the moon, accentuated by celestial designs of constellations, orbits, and cosmic spirals. With jewelry created in collaboration with Panamanian jeweler Michelle Ferrer and enriched with Nicaraguan cultural heritage, the result is pure charm.

FIOLETOWY – Bold Transformer
Fioletowy Studio made its strong debut with ‘Elevation,’ a collection that pairs architectural elegance with poignant storytelling. Supermodel/actress Lisa Haydon was a jaw-dropping inclusion, underscoring the collection’s nod to transformation and perseverance. Handcrafted entirely in India in pure silk, the designer’s showcase featured layered panels, asymmetrical tailoring, and cascading ruffles, inspired by the metaphor of climbing staircases or ascending. ‘Elevation’ ushers in a memorable new chapter for this globally celebrated Indian label.
MAISON NOVAGUE – Poetry In Motion
Maison Novague presented‘L’Écriture du Corps.’ This poetic intermix of art and fashion unfurls in a lovely palette of ivory, gold, midnight navy, scarlet, and painterly purples. The collection celebrates the quiet confidence of something natually beautiful through fluid silks, sculpted forms, and refined contrasts of softness and structure. Designed to honor femininity with timeless elegance, each piece reflected founder/designer Fariba Pourkhajani’s ethos of strength through simplicity.
