The second week of S/S ‘14 fashion week kicked off with electrifying energy carried on from last week. This season there was a fashion designer, Alon Livine, who faced a new challenge: his first runway in New York. The result, as everyone had expected, was a huge success.
Alon Livine is most definitely not a newcomer to the fashion industry. Having received training at Alexander McQueen in London, he has proven his exceptional talent by taking home the first prize of the Israeli version of Project Runway. Livine’s unique ideas are also reflected in his new S/S ’14 collection, which bursts forth with remembrance of a future with sculptural surfaces, futuristic colors and ombre effects.
As for the make-up for this collection, there are three main concepts to be noted: simple, spotlighted and healthy. To achieve these effects, Rogelio Reyna (make-up artist for Bobbi Brown) has used a SPF 15 Tinted Moisturizer along with Extra Bright Advanced Serum, allowing the finished look to appear very natural, flawless and smooth – as if one has just stepped out of a shower. The make-up artist has completed the natural and feminine look with Rosegold Shimmer Eye Shadow. The great advantage of this look is that it matches all styles – formal or casual.
