It’s 2025 – about time to start romanticizing body care like we do with skin care. You know that excitement over trying a new cleanser or serum that promises to bestow the glow of youth? Let’s bring that energy to body wash and lotion, too. Look no further than Cyklar, a brand that makes affordably luxury products for the shower and bath, gorgeously fragranced and packed with nutrient-rich botanicals. All products are vegan, cruelty-free, dermatologist-tested, paraben-free and gluten-free – and, truthfully, a total delight to use.
Their current lineup is perfume oil, body oil, body wash and body cream, and I got to try the latter two. From the variety of scents available, I chose Naked Neroli, a sunny, bright citric floral with a hint of creaminess that I’d gladly wear as perfume.
The body wash looks like an oil and initially feels like one too; it works into a decadent lather once it comes into contact with wet skin, and is never drying or stripping. It contains fatty acid water, multi-oil complex and glycerin, and reminds me a tiny bit of Prequel’s Gleanser (but scented). Is it dramatic to say this is my favorite body wash I’ve ever tried? I’m savoring what I have before it runs out.
The matching body cream feels so luxurious, yet sinks into skin flawlessly. I’m not a big user of body creams, but this one is actually a pleasure to use. With banana flower extract, niacinamide, prickly pear water and squalane, it’s a real treat for the skin.
