HighOnLove just launched its first perfume, called Pure Passion. What inspired this product addition?
Fragrance is a powerful way to change our mood or tap into a different emotion. With Pure Passion, we wanted to create more than just a perfume; We wanted to bottle the feeling of confidence and sensuality. HighOnLove has always been about elevating self-care into an indulgent routine, and Pure Passion is the ultimate reflection of that philosophy. It’s a scent that makes you feel bold, daring, and completely irresistible.
How did your background as a chemist influence the creation of this perfume, as well as all HighOnLove products?
With Pure Passion, it wasn’t just about selecting the most beautiful aphrodisiac notes, it was about understanding the science behind how each ingredient interacts with the skin and with one another to create a fragrance that evolves elegantly over time. As a chemist, I approached this perfume with the same precision I bring to every HighOnLove formulation, ensuring that each note was carefully chosen not just for its scent, but for its performance, longevity, and the emotions it evokes. The top notes of bitter orange, damson plum, and fig were chosen for their bright, mouthwatering quality. These highly volatile molecules are designed to make an instant, captivating first impression. As the scent warms on the skin, it transitions into its heart, where ylang-ylang, jasmine, Turkish rose, and cocoa create this deeply sensual and hypnotic effect, similar to the butterflies-in-your-stomach feeling of being in love. These notes were chosen for their balance of floral allure and warmth, with molecular structures that diffuse gradually, wrapping the wearer in an aura of confidence and intimacy. The base, which was anchored by patchouli, vanilla, sandalwood, ambrette, and oud, was balanced to create a long-lasting, magnetic trail. These heavier, fixative ingredients were selected for their ability to slow down the evaporation of lighter notes, allowing Pure Passion to linger beautifully on the skin for hours. We also considered how every note would interact with body heat, adapting uniquely to each person who wears it.
This same intentionality is at the heart of every HighOnLove creation. Whether it’s our body oils, massage candles, or our intimate care products, we go beyond surface-level beauty to craft formulations that harmonize texture, aroma, and experience. Our end goal is always to create a product that is functional but blissful to use, elevating self-care rituals into acts of self-love.
At your recent bouquet-making launch event, guests designed arrangements inspired by the perfume. How did the floral notes in this fragrance come together?
The heart of Pure Passion is a lush floral bouquet designed to captivate your senses. Turkish rose adds deep romance, jasmine brings an intoxicating, almost hypnotic allure, and ylang-ylang enhances the warmth of the composition with its rich, exotic character. These florals are more than just a beautiful arrangement, they create an emotional connection, making the wearer feel irresistible and empowered.

The response has been incredible! Each region has its own beauty rituals and scent preferences, and we’ve taken that into account when expanding globally. While our perfume remains true to HighOnLove’s signature sensuality, we’ve tried to create a balanced fragrance that resonates universally.

We want Pure Passion to feel like a secret weapon for an instant boost of confidence. It’s a scent that instantly makes you feel seductive and unforgettable.
