Dawn Thérèse Ronfeld is the creator of The Ring Keeper, and is not your typical inventor. A private school teacher in Oakville, Ontario (Canada), she had been pondering it for years every time she had to tuck a ring into her pocket or wallet at the gym. In the summer of 2018, her best friend lost her wedding ring, which she had placed in her sunglass case while playing beach volleyball. Then, her sister-in-law mentioned that she kept leaving her rings at her parents’ house. When she noticed that her firefighter brother put his ring on his key chain when he went to work, she knew she had to create The Ring Keeper in the Fall of 2018.
