It’s a big year for King’s Hawaiian. The maker of those heavenly, sweet mini-rolls is turning 75, and to mark the occasion the brand has teamed up with the Bing Crosby estate to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the crooner’s buttery take on “Mele Kalikimaka.”
Here’s the really exciting part: The collab features a GingerBREAD House Kit. That’s right, instead of your run-of-the-mill kits that come with gingerbread cookies, these modern feats of architecture use scrumptious King’s Hawaiian rolls as their tasty framework—meaning your creation may just have a few nibbles here and there before it’s fully done!
The kit comes with four King’s Hawaiian 12-packs, icing, skewers, and some edible island flair so you can build your very own Hawaiian bungalow. There’s even a mini record with a QR code that links to Bing Crosby’s voice transporting you to “the land where palm trees sway.”
Customers can pre-order the GingerBREAD House Kit ($19.50) on the King’s Hawaiian website. But, you may have to move faster than island time; the kits already sold out once this morning. The new ship date is currently set for 12/15.
