We’ve all received our fair share of subpar presents, and I’m here to make sure that your gifts aren’t one of them. If you’ve been struggling to figure out what to get the lovely ladies in your life, I’ve put together a list of 8 unique suggestions that your mom, sister, wife, or bestie is sure to love.
Nail Polish System from Dazzle Dry ($85)
My least favorite part of doing my own nails is waiting for the polish to dry, and I hate how gel polish ruins my natural nails. Dazzle Dry is disrupting the nail industry with their non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and sustainable nail care system. You don’t need any additional tools like lamps or lights to make it work—just the four-step system of nail prep, base coat, polish, and top coat. The best part? Your manicure or pedicure dries in just 5 minutes.
I’ve tried it out, and the results are impressive. It really does dry quickly, and it lasts longer than a typical polish would. It’s a great clean polish alternative to gel, acrylics, and dips. If you know someone who always has their nails painted, Dazzle Dry is the perfect present for them.
At-Home Custom Scent Experience from Olfactory ($85)
A customized perfume is perhaps one of the sweetest presents you can give for Christmas. Your giftee will receive an explorer box to select a base scent, then a tinkerer box to try out custom samples of their base scent with additional fragrance notes. At the end, they’ll receive a full size of their personalized perfume with their name on the bottle.
If your giftee is based in NYC, you can send them a gift card to do the experience at an Olfactory store instead.
Puffy Laptop Sleeve from Baggu ($32)
Protect your giftee’s laptop with the cutest sleeve on the market. Baggu is known for their bags and purses, but they also have a range of home products that are just as good. Made with ripstop nylon, the sleeve is durable and machine-washable, and comes in a variety of prints to reflect unique styles. My personal favorite is Puffer Snoopy Pink—because who doesn’t love the iconic Peanuts character adorably dressed up for the cold?
Daily Essentials Kit from Manuka Health ($170)
Manuka honey is produced by bees from the nectar of New Zealand’s manuka tree. It’s known to have incredible antioxidant, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory benefits. The Daily Essentials Kit has everything your giftee needs to try this powerful ingredient in both consumable and skincare form. It includes a jar of MGO400+ manuka honey, face serum with bee propolis and vitamin C, lip balm with royal jelly and elderberry, and a mini face serum with royal jelly and bee venom.
Silk Sleep Mask from Dream Performance & Recovery ($59)
Whenever I use this sleep mask, I knock out instantly. The silk is cooling on the eyes and the mask provides complete darkness, guaranteeing better rest. The adjustable strap also ensures that the mask stays put. I leave it next to my bed in case I have a bout of insomnia, and it’s perfect for planes and hotels while traveling.
If that’s not rave enough of a review, I let my boyfriend try it out one night—he loved it so much that I bought him his own.
Clean Candle Refill from Siblings ($29)
If you know a girlie who loves candles, give them an opportunity to reuse their empty containers with Siblings’ candle refills. One bag comes with enough eco-friendly wax for a 10oz candle, a wick, and wick holder. Your giftee just has to melt the max in the microwave, pour it into a vessel, and wait for it to set. They’ll be left with a fresh candle and they don’t have to throw a cute container out. I consider that a win-win.
Siblings has a variety of scents made from safe fragrances and ethically-sourced essential oils. If you want to lean into the holiday vibes, go for No. 4—Eucalyptus, Balsam, and Wild Berries.
Long-Sleeve Maxi Dress with Shapewear from Popilush ($99)
This body-hugging dress is the perfect everyday basic that can be styled casually or elevated. The built-in shapewear immediately sculpts your figure in all the right places, and the removable bra provides support. I’m sometimes insecure about wearing bodycon dresses, but this dress makes me feel confident and comfortable.
If you want to gift an amazing closet staple, let it be this one. Pro-tip: I would recommend sizing up as the shapewear can get tight!
Thermal Wrap from Mozy ($129)
My mom is always cold, and she’s forever looking for the best blankets, jackets, and wraps on the market. When I discovered the Mozy, I immediately knew it would be right up her alley.
The wrap uses the laws of thermodynamics and convective heat-loss technology to seal in body heat, keeping your giftee 500% warmer than a stadium blanket without the need for batteries or heating panels. It stays on hands-free and is wind and weather-proof. It’s fantastic for all cold-weather activities, like watching sports games, camping, snow days, yardwork, and more. There’s nothing better than giving the gift of warmth this Christmas.
