I adore the sparkly, energetic, and imperfectly perfect mystical magic of crystals. And so does Eva Calabrese the owner, founder, and general badass over at Mystical Treasures. Eva is an Asian and queer femme who creates enchanting pieces that capture the eye and soul. They operate out of Pennsylvania and are a one-person show, twisting and crafting gorgeous pieces from bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and rings. Pretty much any jewelry needs you have, they’ve got you covered and protected.
The two pieces I’ve been sporting are a moss agate bracelet with gold detailing and crystal charm and a Tiger Eye necklace. I wore both on my way to Tennessee to attend Bonnaroo and have to say, they did their thing!
The moss agate is known for curing illness and boosting the immune system, which came in handy as I jumped around in the crowd, stood in long lines in the heat, and slept at my campsite for four days straight. My spirits felt high and recharged every time I looked down at this gorgeous green bracelet.
As for the Tiger’s Eye, it covers self-confidence and inner strength. I found myself chatting people up in line, making friends with strangers in crowds, and trading kandi every few minutes. I never thought I would be up for all this extroversion, but it came easy with Tiger’s Eye.
