One of the best additions to any closet is the pieces that share a part of you with the world without saying anything at all.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that Metamorphoza is interested in creating future trends. For Veselina and Dinko, it’s quite the opposite: they’re more interested in shaping creative styles that reflect their ever-shifting pool of customers, and which allow people to not only look their best, but also to feel their best.
This shines through both in the collections themselves and in the practices behind their production. Metamorphoza is dedicated not only to safe and fair labor practices but also to plastic-free packaging, high-quality OEKO-TEX certified fabrics, and a zero-waste production policy that shapes much of their design process. Each piece is made not on an assembly line but by skilled artisans, who assess its quality before it is shipped to its recipient.
Blouses, tunics, vests, dresses, jumpsuits, pants, accessories—Metamorphoza has a little of everything, making audiences hard-pressed to leave the site without finding something of interest. Personally, my biggest challenge was finding just one thing I liked, rather than a whole closet full. However, if I had to choose a favorite, it would be the Sleeveless Tunic With Pleated Chiffon Layer.
This asymmetric long tunic is available in both black and beige—most of their clothing is made in neutral or earthy tones—and in sizes ranging from XS to 5XL. Made from cotton jersey and pleated chiffon, it’s completely washable (though it cannot be machine-dried), taking the stress out of turning this into a wardrobe staple. And with a faux turtleneck neckline, fitted bodice, and elegantly flowing chiffon hem that reminds me slightly of jellyfish tentacles, it’s as modern in cut as it is wholly and completely fun to wear. I’ve found that it goes particularly well with fitted pants and heeled boots, but I suspect it would be equally well-matched with a pair of black shorts and some leggings.
