Spring is on the horizon and mask rules slowly decreasing everywhere. Thankfully. Cabin fever, confidence and hope are also running rampant in the concrete city. This all gives us encouragement and more things to do in the metropolis for locals and visitors alike.
Perhaps now is the time to get outside (and inside) in a safe place with loads of nostalgic games and challenging activities. Area 53 NYC has reopened a new adventure park alongside their popular paintball complex. Its popularity is growing faster than the grass in Prospect Park and urban revitalization.
The clean and spacious ‘arcade’ (if you will) hosts couples on date night, family reunions and group gatherings with rock climbing, a ninja course, roller skating, foosball, basketball, billiards, slides, and more. When was the last time you enjoyed a passionate game of air hockey?
Area 53 NYC first opened in May 2021. The park is following all healthy protocols and looking forward to the return of more families, couples, and business groups up for the challenge. Starting this month, they introduce 21+ Tuesdays. The title says everything and yes there will be a bar serving adult beverages. Reservations are recommended.
This will not be one of NYC’s best-kept secrets for long.
