I recently had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Patel to learn about his background, extraordinary products, and more.
Thank you for joining us. You have quite an impressive background. Please tell us about yourself.
I’m a pharmacist, researcher, inventor, and entrepreneur who has spent more than three decades studying one of the body’s most important molecules: glutathione. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on understanding how oxidative stress impacts health and aging, and how we can better support the body’s own natural defense systems. My work has led to multiple patents in topical delivery technology and the founding of Auro Wellness, where our mission is simple: create science-backed solutions that help people live healthier, longer lives by working with the body’s biology, not against it.
What was your motivation to start your own skincare line?
After years of researching glutathione for whole-body wellness, it became clear that the skin experiences the same oxidative stress as every other organ. Most skincare products focus on treating the surface, but aging begins at the cellular level. I wanted to create a line that addressed the root causes of visible aging by delivering clinically studied antioxidants and peptides deeper into the skin using our patented delivery technology. The goal wasn’t to create another skincare brand, it was to bring pharmaceutical-grade science to everyday skincare.

At Auro, every product starts with the science, not the marketing. We develop patented technologies that protect fragile molecules like glutathione and peptides while improving topical delivery. Could you please elaborate on your first-of-its kind topical glutathione for promoting liver cleansing, combat signs of aging, and promote overall vitality?
Glutathione is often called the body’s master antioxidant because it plays a central role in protecting cells from oxidative stress and supporting the liver’s natural detoxification processes. The challenge is that glutathione is a very fragile molecule. When taken orally, much of it is broken down during digestion, and intravenous therapy, while effective, isn’t practical for everyday use. That’s what led me to spend nearly three decades developing our patented topical glutathione technology.
We created a first-of-its-kind delivery system designed to help maintain glutathione in its active form and support its absorption and making it more accessible and convenient. By supporting healthy glutathione levels, we’re supporting the body’s own natural cleansing pathways, antioxidant defenses, and cellular resilience. Patients often tell us they feel more energized and recover better from the demands of everyday life, but what excites me most is giving people a practical way to support one of the body’s most important protective molecules as part of their long-term wellness routine.
Working in the skincare industry for so many years do you have any top beauty tips you could share?
I’m actually a pharmacist, not a cosmetic chemist. For decades, I compounded prescription skincare and worked closely with physicians treating patients with various skin conditions. One of the biggest challenges I saw was that many active ingredients were unstable, meaning they began losing their effectiveness long before they could deliver meaningful results. That experience inspired me to create Auro Skincare. My philosophy is simple: don’t fight your skin, support it. Instead of relying on harsh ingredients or aggressive treatments, use clinically backed formulations that preserve the integrity of active ingredients and work with your skin’s natural repair and renewal cycle. Healthy, resilient skin comes from supporting its biology, not overwhelming it.
