The beauty industry has made MASSIVE strides with increased foundation and concealer shade offerings, with some brands disrupting the game and offering upwards of 50 shades and considering ALL skin tones. It’s been beautiful to witness. Before you assume Arbonne is going backwards or asking yourself, “How the heck is eight shades inclusive?,” the airy yet buildable medium coverage liquid foundation with a silky satin finish and a formula boasting good-for-skin ingredients, which I like to call “skingredients,” like hyaluronic acid, smoothing peptides, and lipid ceramide technology, allows you to feel like your wearing nothing at all.It was scientifically designed to match a wide range of skin tones. So it’s science-driven inclusivity. Here’s what the brand says. The foundation (and the skin tints covered below!) were crafted with advanced pigment technology along with the Fitzpatrick Skin Type scale to ensure that all skin tones were considered. The light and dark shades can be flexible for use across many undertones. Don’t scratch your head. Here’s an easy breakdown, provided by the brand. Light serves Fitzpatrick Types I–II, which is fair-to-light skin that burns easily and rarely tans. Medium fits Fitzpatrick Types II–III, which is light-to-medium skin that may burn initially but tans to a golden or beige. Dark is designed for Fitzpatrick Types IV–V, which are medium-to-deep skin that tan easily with minimal burning and warm or golden undertones. Lastly, Deep work for Fitzpatrick Types V–VI, which are deep brown-to-ebony skin that tans easily, rarely burns, and has neutral, golden, or red undertones. I am light, with skin that will turn tan. I am blessed with skin that doesn’t require much in the way of foundation. I found it glowy and silky and hydrating when applying.
Now, about Arbonne Sheer Coverage Skin Tint. It comes in four tones, is lightweight, hydrating, and gives skin that dewy glow. It’s got antioxidant vitamins B3, C,and E to give your skin itself a boost. It was formulated with the same scale as its sister foundation. It is a heavy lifter — diminishing redness, pores, uneven tone, and more. Add a dose of radiance and layerability and you’re golden. Quite literally. I quite liked this formula for summer skin, when it’s super hot and my oil skin already has some natural glow. This helped even me out without feeling heavy or cakey. Whether or not it suits your skin tone depends on the results you get when you test it out. Applying it felt like applying a tinted moisturize and the result mimicked my actual skin. It was breathable and creamy, and is my new facial fave.

With broad spectrum protection from UVA and UVB rays, this mega shiny, non-sticky, semi-sheer, and balmy gloss protects your pout while adding supreme shine and hydration. I am absolutely in LOVE with Zuma, the soft pink shade. It’s VERY cotton candy concentrated in the tube, but it goes on sheer and petal-like. Be sure and tuck into your beach bag for any day you may be lounging on the beach or pocket it for any outdoor activity. Your lips and surrounding skin are just as susceptible to damage as the rest of your face. Note to those with nut allergies — the product features sweet almond oil, which may make it a no-go for you! It also smells like salt water taffy. Yummy

You can do so much with SO little and you won’t look radioactive, because the three-toned colors are soft and can be built and blurred. I tend to keep any sort of illuminating product light and liquid, but this powder is fine-milled and subtle. I kept stopping to admire every time I passed a mirror.
Call it comeback and thank a brand for LISTENING to its fans. How many times has a product you LOVED been discontinued, never to return?I remember when Gen Alpha BELOVED brand Sol de Janeiro dropped its coconut-scented products and its blue Cheirosa 39 fragrance mist. It smelled like buttered popcorn drizzled with melted vanilla sauce and dusted with coconut flakes, and I loved it. I spritzed my clothes, my pulse points, and my hair with it and inhaled all day long, since the staying power was so primo. The Internet was viciously divided, with many fans disliking its sweet x savory foodie smell. The brand course-corrected and re-released it shortly thereafter, with orchid notes cutting through some of the vanilla and the coconut. I VASTLY preferred the original, as did a small, vocal online community. Eventually, the brand discontinued Cheirosa 39 V. 2.0 and its body products. Still, brand fans continued to petition for its return. Fast forward to Summer 2025 and SdJ just brought it back and broke the interwebs while doing so. I decided to give it a second chance. Maybe my nose needs have changed or maybe I was just bitter that it replaced a scent I LOVED. Maybe it was reformulated “too soon” and I didn’t give its retooled version a proper chance. I am happy to say that this time out, I dig it. I am not a perfume person; I like to layer body lotions, oils, and fragrance mists for a customized aura, and I blasted my OOTD with Cheirosa 39 and it has major staying power and smells like the beach in a bottle. My olfactory settings sniff more coconut and praline this time out and still a bit of butter, but not nearly as much as the OG! Here’s hoping it stays, even though right now, it’s promoted as back “for a limited time.”
