After reimagining home fragrance for three decades, LAFCO has introduced their first fine fragrance collection of six luscious eau de parfums that are each crafted with artistry and designed to evolve and meld to your unique chemistry. They are each inspired by one of LAFCO’s best-selling candles, and they are nothing less than spectacular because they’re clean-ingredient and distinctive.
They are:
Bare Summer – evokes blue skies, warm beaches, and salty floral breezes. It opens with refreshing bergamot, coriander, myrtle, then movies into inspiring middle notes of cardamom, magnolia, salted rose, and jasmine, well-balanced in a base of driftwood, ambrette, musk, and warm sand. Lovely!
Tropic Waters – a balmy day near water with soft waves, green mangoes and coconuts, and watery green vistas. This opens with green mango, coconut water, and warming ginger, then has a heart of neroli, frangipani, sandalwood, and sea salt. The base is a warm, woodsy meld of tonic beans, amber, and solar musk.
First Bloom – flowers elate with joyous opening notes of violet leaf, galbanum, neroli, and raspberry for a sweet addition, moving into a floral chorus of middle notes that include jasmine, gardenia, rose, and muguet. The base is amber, vetiver, vanilla, moss, and musk to add beautiful complexity and depth.
Golden Morning – arise to honeyed chamomile and whiffs of lavender with sweet daydreams, this has opening notes of bergamot, chamomile, and pink pepper. Its heart notes of lavender, rose, and Angelica seed are comforting and its base of honey, tonic amber and musk is intoxicating. Wake up to an olfactory nirvana.
Fireside Light – This creamy, smoky, sweet and mesmerizing fragrance smells like S’mores by a campfire on a romantic night in the woods under a star-splashed sky. It opens with cognac, Havana, saffron, and fir balsam to set the scene, leading into a heart of vetiver, guaiawood, cedar wood, and birch, in a base of leather, album, benzoin, vanilla and oud. This is a keeper – keep it nearby at all times.
Midnight Aura – My personal favorite as a night owl, this timeless fragrance opens with sweet prickly pear and wild raspberry, followed by rose buds and cactus blossom to layer in complexity, all nestled into a creative base of desert musk and cedarwood amber to fuse the desert with garden delights at midnight.
