Demeter: Carry The Garden With You

Demeter Fragrance Library, born in NYC’s East Village and noted for its quirky and creative array of fragrances that include Funeral Parlor, Laundromat, Angel Food, Between The Sheets, Beeswax, Zombie, Swimming Pool, Riding Crop, Pizza, Ominous Mist, Lobster, Junior Mints, Cinnamon Toast, Turpentine, Thailand, and many dozens of others, also has all-natural roll-on perfume oils that are light and ideal for hot weather.

Whether you want your notes sultry, sweet, green, floral, spicy, or combined, they can be found in the Demeter Fragrance Library.

In spite of how tempting Demeter’s whimsical blends are, for summer I opted to try for the Lilac and Lavender roll-on perfume oils. Lilac did indeed evoke a lilac bush, but it wasn’t as green as I imagined. However, I truly love the lavender roll-on, which is perfect for in-purse or pocket for post-gym workouts, or for when I’m typically sweltering through summer events. It’s not an overwhelming perfume oil at all, and because it’s all natural, it doesn’t have any lingering chemical after-effect.

Choose your own quirky fragrance on the Demeter Fragrance website. Maybe it’s Baby Powder, Dirt, Paperback, or Kitten Fur.

You can calso reate your own unique blends (Grass + Rain + Jasmine), and find mini spray bottles there, too.
