The Pet Rescue Smoke Detector Created by a Firefighter

Past wildfires ravaging the island of Maui and the current wildfires in Los Angeles reveal how important it is to have a fire safety plan in place to ensure firefighters can quickly locate your pet during a fire.

Designed by a firefighter,  Rescue Retriever  is a paw-shaped smoke detector emitting an immense strobing light, guiding firefighters to where your pet is located. Placing the included Rescue Retriever in the front window or door of your home informs responders know that a pet or pets are located somewhere in the residence.

Although no safety tool is foolproof during a raging fire, if firefighters quickly identity that a pet is present and can be guided to the exact location via a powerful strobing effect, the chance of a pet surviving a fire is higher.

Rescue Retriever is easy to set up and secure in place. The best location is “where your pet sleeps, rests, or seeks refuge.” If your dog sleeps in a crate, Rescue Retriever can be placed directly on the front of the crate, as illustrated in this video:
