With all the parties, family functions and social commitments in the holiday pipeline, this month I’ve decided to extend a helping hand with regards to getting your Santa ready for the holidays. Santa’s reindeer should fly away, not his hair! I recently was introduced to the products of Daimon Barber from the UK. Their Texture Tonic is infused with Kahai Nut Oil. The hair is protected and strengthened throughout the styling process, leaving a controlled, lustrous style with boosted volume and great texture. The tonic can be used as a standalone product or as a prestyler, can be “activated” when blow dried through or can be used to control thick and wavy hair when allowed to dry naturally. Santa’s curly locks will remain naturally flowing and glowing with a healthy shine.
Rumor has it that “Tropical Santa” likes the scent of Fresh by Houston White. The Moisturizing Shampoo has notes of apricot, almond and coconut while the Deep Conditioner leaves the hair tangle-free and manageable plus notes of cypress, musk and sandalwood — together, they are as fresh as a tropical breeze. I’d never thought that I’d encounter a different kind of shaving cream but I did. The first thing that I noticed was that Primal Life Gruff Shaving Cream is not really a cream so much as a cross between putty and spackle. It is smooth but adheres to the whiskers which is the most important part to help the razor glide across the skin. Your Santa will like it the way it shapes up his neck and etching around the side burns. This product is made with organic shea butter, babassu, frankincense and eucalyptus oil plus free from chemicals and preservatives.
“On Dasher, on Dancer, on Prancer and Vixen…” Move along dark circles under the eyes too after steering a sleigh in the dark all night. While your Santa is traveling in all sorts of weather and over the rugged terrain keep in mind that his large, rough hands, while gloved, hold the reigns of reindeer and unload heavy packages.
