Express Yourself with Tiefossi: A Notebook for Every Need

Like many creatives, I hoard notebooks.

Hardcover. Softcover. Leather-bound. Spiral. Lined. Dotted. The list goes on.

The diversity of notebook options is matched by the diversity of their purposes. From torn and taped sketchbooks to memory-filled junk journals to train-of-thought writing, each blank page is full of possibility.

Recently, I’ve found myself in need of a new notebook, with my previous recipe journal all but full to bursting. And in my research, I found Tiefossi

Established in 2018, Tiefossi was created with the intent of inspiring people to express themselves on paper and to provide all the tools they need to do so. Its wide array of products, ranging from notebooks and planners to scrapbook papers and stamps to pens and rulers, caters to anyone and everyone.

Of its paper goods, my personal favorite is the company’s A5 Gold Vintage Notebook – Green. Available with both lines and a dot grid, the cover is made from handcrafted vegan leather in a lovely, vintage green, accented with gold and deeper green-grey tones in a swirling, floral-inspired design. Both versions of the notebook come with a back pocket to safely hold any little bits and bobs, as well as a pen holder, bookmark ribbon, and elastic band for secure closure.

From there, the two diverge: while the lined notebook comes with 316 pages (each numbered at the bottom, as in the dot grid version) and white 100gsm paper, the dot grid notebook comes with 192 pages, a 180° lay-flat design, and white 160gsm paper. The spacing on the pages of each version also differs: the lined notebook has a 7mm line spacing, while the dot grid notebook has a 5mm line spacing.

Of course, if this version isn’t for you, there are plenty more options to consider; 176 in total (including the gold vintage notebook in green), to be exact, at the time of writing.

Available in sizes ranging from A5 and A6 to B5 and B6 to square and traveler’s notebooks, options for paper type include blank, lined, and dot grid, with the latter being the most prevalent. Page counts range from 112 to 400, with the bulk of the notebooks on offer resting between 160 and 256. Like your privacy? While most Tiefossi notebooks include an elastic band, a small group uses a 3-digit combination lock instead, keeping your pages safe from prying eyes.

And what about the designs? Well, from flora and fauna to starry skies to witchy motifs to vintage patterns, I can safely say there’s something to pique just about any interest.

Hoarding notebooks is easy. Finding the right one for your needs and preferences is less so. Drawing, writing, planning, scrapbooking—every purpose asks for something different, and not every company can meet every need. But Tiefossi is making the effort to do just that. So if you’re in the market for a new notebook (whether it will be used or just admired), visit Tiefossi’s website HERE, and start perusing their options today.
